Lobster Balls!

The University of Maine has succeeded in making a biodegradable golf ball out of lobster shells. This golf ball is actually cheaper than other biodegradable golf balls, has a similar flight pattern to regular golf balls, and is made out of a material that normally ends up in the land fill. Now golfers on cruise ships no longer have to worry about the environmental effect of hitting golf balls into the ocean, except for maybe hitting dolphins, reefs, and other organisms... The golf balls start to break down after 7 days and the material has other applications for products such as biodegradable plant pots.
